How To Open Command Prompt in Elevated Mode (Administrator Rights)


Most of the administration commands are required to run at elevated mode to run. Here i will show you to open a command prompt in elevated mode.

It is also fix for  ‘System error 5 has occurred.’ in windows.

Applies To : Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10

Note : If you are trying to open command prompt from non-administrator login, it will ask to enter administrator user credentials.

Method 1:
1. Press Start button and type cmd in search text box.
2. Right click on cmd.exe and then select Run as administrator option.
3. Click on Yes button for answering "Do you want to allow the program to make changes to your  computer? " window.



Method 2:
1. Press Start button and type cmd in search text box.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter key.
3. Click on Yes button for answering "Do you want to allow the program to make changes to your  computer? " window.
